Profhilo is the largest single line on Filler Direct — and its product page sits at average position 60.4 in Google, which is page six. Thousands of people are shown it every month and almost none of them arrive. This piece covers the two things buyers actually ask about: which presentation is which, and how to check what has arrived is what you ordered.
The four presentations
The name covers more than one product, and ordering by brand alone is the most common way the wrong box turns up. Filler Direct stocks:
- Profhilo — the standard presentation.
- Profhilo H+L, supplied in a hologram box.
- Profhilo Structura — supplied as 1 × 2ml.
- Profhilo Body — a separate presentation again.
These are not interchangeable and they are not different sizes of one thing. Order by the full product name and the volume, and check the carton against the order when it arrives rather than assuming.
The hologram box, and what it isfor

This is the question we field more than any other about the brand, so it is worth answering plainly.
Manufacturers of well-known injectables commonly apply authentication features to their packaging — holograms, security codes, verification portals — so that a purchaser can confirm what they have received. The specific features, their placement and how they are verified are set by the manufacturer and change between production runs and between markets.
Two things we would say without qualification. Check the authentication features on arrival, not later — while you still have the delivery, the paperwork and a supplier you can raise it with the same day. And use the manufacturer’s own verification route rather than judging by eye; the point of a verification portal is that it does not rely on your recollection of what last month’s box looked like.
None of that is a comment on other suppliers. It is simply the check any buyer of any branded injectable should be doing as routine, from whoever they buy.
What to check on arrival
- The product name and volume on the carton match the order line, exactly.
- The batch or LOT number is legible. Record it against the order.
- The expiry date leaves you enough margin at your actual rate of use.
- The packaging is intact — unbroken seals, no crushing, no water damage.
- The authentication features are present and verify through the manufacturer’s own route.
- The condition on arrival is consistent with the stated storage requirements, particularly if it has travelled in
warm weather.
If anything on that list is wrong, photograph it before you unpack any further and contact the supplier the same day. A problem raised on the day of delivery is a supply issue. The same problem raised three weeks later is an argument.
Writing an order that cannot be misread
Most wrong-product deliveries in this category are not supplier errors. They are ordering errors, and they have the same shape: a brand name where a product name was needed.
An order line that works looks like this — product name, variant, volume, quantity. So “Profhilo Structura, 1 × 2ml, two boxes” rather than “two Profhilo”. It reads as pedantic and it removes the entire class of problem.
The same discipline applies when you are checking a delivery note or reconciling an invoice. If the paperwork says only the brand, you cannot tell from it whether the right thing arrived, which means you are relying on memory weeks later. Ask suppliers to itemise by full product name and volume, and most will, because it saves them the return as well.
One more habit worth building: keep a short standing list of the presentations your clinic actually uses, with the
exact product names and volumes on it. Reordering from that list rather than from recollection is the single
cheapest way to stop this happening.
Storage
Storage conditions are stated on the carton and in the instructions for use. For broader clinic practices, see our guide on how to maintain hygiene and safety.
The recurring practical failure in clinics is not ignorance of the range but the place chosen to meet it: a fridge door opened repeatedly through the day, or a shelf that sits above equipment giving off heat. If a product has a stated range, store it somewhere that range is genuinely held, and check the thermometer occasionally rather than trusting the dial.
Ordering
Current presentations, prices and stock status are on the Profhilo product page, and reduced lines appear on the offers page when they are available. If you are not certain which presentation you need, the contact details are on the site — a two-minute conversation is considerably cheaper than a return.
What we will not advise on is which presentation suits a particular patient. That is a clinical decision for the practitioner, taken against the manufacturer’s instructions for use and their own training and indemnity
